Judgment:
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to Demand Notices dated 23.12.2011 issued by the third respondent to the petitioner in respect of his Non-Farm Loan Accounts and quashing them as illegal and arbitrary and further directing the respondents and more particularly the third respondent to receive the payments made by the petitioner vide Receipts No.000821 dated 26.12.2011 and 031051 dated 25.1.2012 issued by the third respondent Society towards loan accounts SRTO No.74 & SRTO No.81 under the Special Settlement Scheme for Non-Farm Loans of the Cooperative Banks announced vide G.O., in Na.Ka.109979/2010 mavako 3 dated 3.12.2010 and to receive the Loan clearance Certificates in respect of the above loan accounts of the petitioner.

This Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to Demand Notices dated 23.12.2011 issued by the third respondent to the petitioner in respect of his Non-Farm Loan Accounts and quashing them as illegal and arbitrary and further directing the respondents and more particularly, the third respondent to receive the payments made by the petitioner vide Receipts No.000821 dated 26.12.2011 and 031051 dated 25.1.2012 issued by the third respondent Society towards loan accounts SRTO No.74 & SRTO No.81 under the Special Settlement Scheme for Non-Farm Loans of the Cooperative Banks announced vide G.O., in Na.Ka.109979/2010 mavako 3 dated 3.12.2010 and to receive the Loan clearance Certificates in respect of the above loan accounts of the petitioner.
2. Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

Petitioner availed two loans under Non-Farming Loan Scheme from the third respondent and two notices both dated 23.12.2011 were issued by the third respondent demanding Rs.4,86,598/- and Rs.4,21,997/- as amount due and payable together with interest. It is the petitioner's plea that he paid two amounts, namely, Rs.4,04,851/- and Rs.4,68,772/-, which amounts are covered by receipt dated 26.12.2011 and 25.1.2012 respectively. These amounts were made by way of cash and demand draft on the respective dates. Petitioner sent a legal notice on 26.12.2011 through advocate Mr.Saravanan and another notice dated 4.1.2012 to the first respondent. Petitioner seeks the benefit under Non-Farm Loan Settlement Scheme of the third respondent.
4. Heard Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Additional Government Pleader who states that the authority will consider the claim of the petitioner on its owner merits and as per the scheme if applicable on a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the payments made and also taking note of the petitioner's plea and the legal notice/representation made to the authorities, the first respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view on this matter.
6. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
