the court : it appears that the writ petitioner has been awarded a certificate bearing no. a 072674 issued on 18th december, 2008 by the head, net bureau of the university grants commission, national educational testing bureau, wherefrom it appears that he has attained the ugc-net qualification for eligibility for lectureship held on 30th december, 2007, in the subject, international and area studies. since the issue that comes up for adjudication before this court concerns the interpretation of the expression, concerned subject as appearing from the advertisement of the west bengal college service commission being advertisement no. 03/2008, the university grants commission is directed to file an affidavit before this court within three weeks from date stating specifically therein whether the qualification of the writ petitioner in the subject stated above could be said to be an eligible qualification for the post applied for. let this matter appear in the list for further consideration under the same heading four weeks hence. urgent photostat signed copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
