contempt of courts act - section 11 -(prayer:contempt petition is filed under section 11 of the contempt of courts act, 1971 praying to punish those concerned with the respondent for willfully and wantonly disobeying the hon'ble court order in crl.o.p.(md).no.21978 of 2014 dated 16.12.2014.) 1. when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned government advocate (criminal side) submits that the case has been numbered as c.c.no.3 of 2015 on the file of the land grabbing court, tirunelveli. hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the contempt petition. he has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2. in view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this contempt petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
