By way of this petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure ('Cr.P.C' for short).the petitioner seeks regular bail in FIR No.224, dated 27.11.2013, registered under Sections 307/308/325/341/323/148/149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short) ( Section 307 IPC was added later on vide Rapt No.22 dated 26.01.2014).at Police Station Kotkapura, District Faridkot.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that the injury attributed to the petitioner is on the left leg of the victim and the injured has already been discharged from the hospital.
As per custody certificate, filed by learned State counsel today in Court, the petitioner has already spent 06 months and 23 days in custody.
It has been submitted by learned State counsel that the investigation in the matter is already complete and the challan is stated to have been filed before TRIPTI SAINI201408.22 15:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Crl.

In these circumstances, further incarceration of the petitioner is found to be unwarranted.
Consequently, the petition is allowed and the petitioner- Chamkaur Singh @ Gill S/0 Mohinder Singh @ Kaka Singh R/o Duareana Road, Street No.5, Near Balmik Mandir, Kotkapura, P.S.City Kotkapura, District Faridkot, is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Faridabad.
