(Oral) (1) The petitioner seeks quashing of the notice dated 09.10.1991 asking her to deposit enhanced allotment price of plot No.774, Sector 70, Urban Estate SAS Nagar Mohali measuring 400 sq.yards.

The petitioner relies upon CWP No.4079 of 1990 which was pending in this Court.

The above-stated writ petition i.e.CWP No.4079 of 1990 and the bunch of other cases were taken up along with CWP No.6962 of 1992 (Harjit Singh & ORS.versus Punjab Housing Development Board) which was disposed of by one of us (Surya Kant, J.vide order dated March 17, 2008 with the following directions:- “The petitioners shall be liable to pay the additional amount, so worked out, along with simple interest @ 10% per annum from the due date within a period of one month from the date of receipt of such notice, failing which the respondents shall also be entitled to charge penalty from the petitioner.
