CWP No.537 of 2014 Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant petition, under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the grievance of the petitioner was not being redressed, he finally approached Sahni Greesh 2014.07.17 12:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh CWP No.537 of 2014 2 the respondent authorities by way of self contained representation dated 12.8.2013 (Annexure P-13).but the same is also pending decision.

He further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.2 is directed to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner, within a reasonable time.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, including the issue of limitation, if any, Director, Cultural AffaiRs.Archives and Museum Department, Punjab-respondent no.2 is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioner, raised vide his representation dated 12.8.2013 (Annexure P-13) and decide the same at an early date, keeping in view Annexure P-12, by passing an appropriate order thereon, in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

With the observations made above, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
