Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, fairly states that petitioner does not want to press this petition qua his second prayer, i.e.seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the promotion order dated 21.8.2013.
She further submits that petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the legal notice dated 29.4.2014 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioner, within a reasonable time.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, including the issue of limitation, if any, respondent No.2-General Manager, Punjab Roadways, Moga, is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the Saluja Mukesh Kumar CWP NO.11753 of 2014 2 2014.06.30 16:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document petitioner raised vide his legal notice dated 29.4.2014 (Annexure P-5) and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
With the observations made above, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
