(Oral) Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C.in FIR No.79 dated 07.05.2014 for offences under Sections 15 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Dakha, District Ludhiana.

As per prosecution story, there was a secret information received by the police party naming the petitioner and one Gurwinder Singh that they were likely to be apprehended being in possession of contraband article.

The police party raided the place at about 3.45 p.m.and arrested Gurwinder Singh at the spot whereas the petitioner who fled from there was identified by members of the police party.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that it is improbable that the petitioner could run away under the Nos.of police party comprising of so many police officials.

It is also contended that the petitioner would be arrested simply because his name figured in the secret information.
