This petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.304 dated 16.11.2011 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC, registered at Police Station Madhuban, District Karnal.

I have gone through the record and have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

From the record, I find that as per the FIR, some candidates were selected under the Chairmanship of Sh.P.S.Ahlawat, IPS as Constable, Driver etc.Prior to allotment of constabulary numbers to candidates, photocopies of their driving licenses were sent to concerned licensing authority for verification of genuineness and as per the verification report, driving licence in respect of 41 candidates have been reported as fake.

Keeping in view the nature and gravity of the offence and the fact that present petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find any ground to grant benefit of anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

Therefore, the present petition stands dismissed.
