(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.is for issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 12.
It is inter alia contended that the petitioners are accused in FIR No.235 dated 30.9.2013 registered under Sections 376/120-B IPC at Police Station 'A' Division, Amritsar City and they are on bail in the said case.
It is further contended that the petitioners are being threatened by the complainant party.
It is also contended that the petitioners have already made a representation dated 19.4.2014 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, in this regard.
