(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C.is for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and not to harass them at the instance of respondent Nos.4 to 7.
The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents.
They are stated to be major.
In support of her proof of age petitioner No.1 has placed on record a copy of Middle Standard Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2) wherein her date of birth is mentioned as 28.10.1994 whereas petitioner No.2 has placed on record a C.R.M-M No.16644 of 2013 -2- copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-3) depicting his date of birth as 04.09.1991.
They have also moved a representation before the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar (Annexure P-4) for protection of their life and liberty.
Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to take appropriate action on the said representation (Annexures P-4).Since the main case has been decided, the pending Criminal Misc.
Application, if any, also stands disposed of.
A copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioners on payment of usual charges.
