That a writ of mandamus or other order be passed directing the 3rd respondent to hear and dispose of Ext.P9 in accordance with law within a time to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice. ii. Such other reliefs as are necessary and incidental to this writ petition (civil)" 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the only relief sought for is to cause Ext.P9 application preferred by the petitioner to be considered and disposed of within a reasonable time.

3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.

4. Considering the limited extent of relief sought for, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the issue on merits. The W.P.(C)No.16698/2013 2 writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to consider Ext.P9 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, at the earliest, at any rate within 'six weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
