Title : Procedure to Be Followed by the Board

(1) The Board shall meet at least twice a year at such place as the State Government may direct. (2) The Board shall regulate its own procedure (including the quorum). Title : Constitution of Central Zoo Authority

(1) The Central Government shall constitute a body to be known as the Central Zoo Authority (hereinafter in this Chapter referred to as the Authority), to exercise the powers conferred on, and to perform the functions assigned to it under this Act. 1[Section 38M - Term of office and conditions of service of members (1) A member nominated under clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 38L shall hold office for such period not exceeding three years: Provided that a member may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Central Government, resign from his office. The provisions of this Chapter shall apply only to the following persons, namely: (a) every person who has been convicted of an offence punishable under this Act with imprisonment for a term of three years or more; (b) every associate of a person referred to in clause (a); (c) any holder (hereafter in this clause referred to as the present holder) of any property which was at any time previously held by a person referred to in clause (a) or clause (b) unless the present holder or, as the case may be, any one who held such property after such person and before the present holder, is or was a transferee in good faith for adequate consideration.
