THE ARBITRATION (EXTENSION TO NAGAIAND) ACT, 1978 THE ARBITRATION (EXTENSION TO NAGAIAND) ACT, 1978 (NAGALAND ACT NO. 9 OF 1978) Received the assent of the President of India on the 23rd September, 1978. An Act to provide for the extension of the Arbitration Act, 1940 (10 of 1940) to the State of Nagaland. It is hereby enacted in the Twenty ninth year of the Republic of India as follows 1. Short title. (1) This Act may be called The Arbitration (Extension to Nagaland) Act, 1978. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Extension of Act 10 of1940 to Nagaland.
