Title: Establishment of Commission

1 7. Establishment of Commission.-- (1) With effect from such date as the Central Government may, by notification, appoint, there shall be established, for the purposes of this Act, a Commission to be called the "Competition Commission of India". (2) The Commission shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid having perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and to contract and shall, by the said name, sue or be sued. (3) The head office of the Commission shall be at such place as the Central Government may decide from time to time. Title: Funding of State Government Schemes

(7) Any scheme notified by the State Government may be-- (i) wholly funded by the State Government; or (ii) partly funded by the State Government, partly funded through contributions collected from the beneficiaries of the scheme or the employers as may be prescribed in the scheme by the State Government. (2) The State Government may seek financial assistance from the Central Government for the schemes formulated by it. (3) The Central Government may provide such financial assistance to the State Governments for the purpose of schemes for such period and on such terms and conditions as it may deem fit.

(7) The Official Trustee shall always be sole trustee, and it shall not be lawful to appoint the Official Trustee to be trustee along with any other person.

(1) The City Civil Court shall have a Registrar and as many Deputy Registrars and other staff as may be determined by the State Government in consultation with the High Court. (2) The High Court may appoint an officer belonging to the Judicial Service of the State of Karnataka as the Registrar of the City Civil Court. (3) The Registrar shall be the Chief Ministerial Officer of the City Civil Court.
