Title: Registration under this Act to be deemed equivalent to registration under

Every instrument executed and registered in accordance with the foregoing provisions shall be deemed to have been duly registered under the provisions of the {See now the Indian Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908).} Indian Registration Act, 1877; and no instrument which ought to have been executed before a Village-registrar but has been otherwise executed shall be registered by any officer acting under the said Act, or in any public office, or shall be authenticated by any public officer.

Manipur Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 Section 60

Title: Minutes

(1) Minutes shall be kept of the names of the members and of the officers, if any, present, and of the proceedings at each meeting of the Zilla Parishad and if any member present at the meeting so desires, of the names of the members voting respectively for or against any resolution, in a book to be provided for purpose and after they are read over and agreed to, shall be signed by the Adhyaksha and Up-Adhyaksha or person presiding at such meeting, and shall at all reasonable times be open to inspection by any member of the Zilla Parishad. Any person may inspect the copy of the minutes of the meeting. The minutes books shall always be kept in the office of the Zilla Parishad and shall be in the custody of the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad. (2) A copy of every resolution passed by the Zilla Parishad shall with in ten days from the date of its passing in the meeting, be forwarded by the Chief Executive Officer to the Government.

Marine Insurance Act, 1963 Section 60

Title: Constructive Total Loss Defined

.....any express provision in the policy, there is a constructive total loss where the subject-matter insured is reasonably abandoned on account of its actual total loss appearing to be unavoidable, or because it could not be preserved from actual total loss without an expenditure which would exceed its value when the expenditure had been incurred. (2) In particular, there is a constructive total loss-- (i) where the assured is deprived of the possession of his ship or goods by a peril insured against, and (a) it is unlikely that he can recover the ship or goods, as the case may be, or (b) the cost of recovering the ship or goods, as the case may be, would exceed their value when recovered; or (ii) in the case of damage to a ship, where she is so damaged by a peril insured against that the cost of repairing the damage would exceed the value of the ship when repaired. In estimating the cost of repairs, no deduction is to be made in respect of general average contributions to those repairs payable by other interests, but account is to be taken of the expense of future salvage operations and of any future general average contributions to which the ship would be liable if.....

Bihar Reorganisation Act, 2000 Section 60

Title: Power of Central Government to Order Allocation or Adjustment in Certain Cases

Where, by virtue of any of the provisions of this Part, any of the successor States of Bihar and Jharkhand becomes entitled to any property or obtains any benefits or becomes subject to any liability, and the Central Government is of opinion, on a reference made within a period of three years from the appointed day by either of the States, that it is just and equitable that property or those benefits should be transferred to, or shared with, the other successor State, or that a contribution towards that liability should be made by the other successor State, the said property or benefits shall be allocated in such manner between the two States, or the other State shall make to the State subject to the liability such contribution in respect thereof, as the Central Government may, after consultation with the two State Governments, by order, determine.

National Security Guard Act 1986 Section 60

Title: Inquiry into Absence Without Leave

(1) When any person subject to this Act has been absent from duty without due authority for a period of thirty days, a Court of inquiry shall, as soon as practicable, be appointed by an officer not below the rank of a Group Commander under whose command he is for the time being serving and such Court shall, on oath or affirmation administered in the prescribed manner, inquire respecting the absence of the person, and the deficiency, if any, in the property of the Government entrusted to his care, or in any arms, ammunition, equipment, instruments, clothing or necessaries; and if satisfied of the facts of such absence without due authority or other sufficient cause, the Court shall declare such absence and the period thereof and the said deficiency, if any, and transmit the proceedings of the Court of inquiry to the officer who appointed the Court of inquiry, for further action. (2) If the person declared absent does not afterwards surrender or is not apprehended, he shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to be a deserter.

Where the successor States of Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal agree that the benefit or burden of any particular asset or liability should be apportioned between them in a manner other than that provided for in the foregoing provisions of this Part, notwithstanding anything contained therein, the benefit or burden of that asset or liability shall be apportioned in the manner agreed upon.
