Title: Relief in Cases of Several Grants

(1) Whenever a grant of probate or letters of administration has been made in respect of the whole of the property belonging to an estate and the full fee payable under this Act in respect of the application for such grant has been paid thereon, no fee shall be payable when a like grant is made in respect of the whole or any part of the same property belonging to the same estate. (2) Whenever such grant has been made in respect of any property forming part of an estate, the amount of fee actually paid under this act in respect thereof shall be deducted when a like grant is made in respect of the property belonging to the same estate identical with or including the property to which the former grant relates.

Title: Power of High Court to Call for Further Particulars as to Case Stated

Title: Adjudication of Disputes Between the Board and Local Authorities

(1) When a dispute exists between the Board and one or more than one other local authority or among local authorities in regard to any matter arising under the provisions of this Act, and the Government after considering the representations, if any made by the local authority or authorities is of the opinion that the parties are unable to settle it amicably among themselves, it may take cognizance of the dispute and decide it themselves. (2) The decision of the Government thereon shall be binding on the Board and the local authorities concerned and shall not be liable to be questioned in any court of law.

(1) The Board shall cause to be maintained proper books of accounts and such other books as the rules under this Act may require and shall prepare in accordance with such rules an annual statement of accounts. (2) The Board shall cause its accounts to be audited annually by such persons as the State Government may direct. (3) As soon as the accounts of the Board have been audited, the Board shall send a copy thereof together with a copy of the report of the auditor thereon to the State Government; and shall cause the accounts to be published in the prescribed manner and place copies thereof on sale at a reasonable price.1[The audited accounts and the report shall be laid before each House of the State Legislature, as soon as may be after they are received by the State Government.] (4) The Board shall comply with such directions as the State Government may after perusal of the report of the auditor think fit to issue. _______________________________ 1. (l) Any member other than an ex--officio member, of any Authority or body of the University may resign his office, by a letter addressed to the Vice--Chancellor Such resignation shall take effect immediately on its acceptance and communication to the concerned. (2) Any member of any Authority or body of the University shall cease to be a member on his being convicted by a court of law of an offence, which involves moral turpitude.
