Title: Power for Company to Have Official Seal for Use Outside India

(1) A company whose objects require or comprise the transaction of business outside India may, if authorised by its articles, have for use in any territory, district or place not situate in India an official seal which shall be a facsimile of the common seal of the company, with the addition on its face of me name of the territory, district or place where it is to be used. (2) A company having an official seal for use in any such territory, district or place may, by writing under its common seal, authorise any person appointed for the purpose in that territory, district or place to affix the official seal to any deed or other document to which the company is a party in that territory, district or place. (3) The authority of any agent authorised tinder sub-section (2) shall, as between the company and any person dealing with the agent, continue during the period, if any, mentioned in the instrument conferring the authority, or if no period is there mentioned, until notice of the revocation or determination of the agents authority has been given to the person dealing with him. States Reorganisation Act 1956 Section 50

Title: Abolition of Certain Courts

(1) As from the appointed day, the High Courts of all the existing Part B States, except Jammu and Kashmir, and the Courts of the Judicial Commissioners for Ajmer, Bhopal, Kutch and Vindhya Pradesh shall cease to function and are hereby abolished. (2) Nothing in sub-section (1) shall prejudice or affect the continued operation of any notice served, injunction issued, direction given or proceedings taken before the appointed day by any of the courts abolished by that sub-section under the powers then conferred upon that court. (3) Every such Judge of a High Court abolished by sub-section (1) as the President after consultation with the Chief Justice of India may, by order made before the appointed day, specify shall, as from that day, become a Judge, or if so specified the Chief Justice, of such High Court as the President may in that order specify.

Faridabad Development Corporation Act, 1956 Section 11

Title: Authentication of Orders and Other Instruments of the Corporation

All orders and decisions of the Corporation shall be authenticated by the signature of the Chairman or any other member authorised by the Corporation in this behalf, and all other instruments issued by the Corporation shall be authenticated by the signature of the Administrator or any other officer of the Corporation authorised in like manner in this behalf.

Title: Mode of Recovery of Moneys Due to the Corporation

State: Central

Year: 1956

When any money is due to the Corporation from any person, then, without prejudice to any other mode of recovery, the Corporation may, after giving that person an opportunity of being heard, issue a certificate to the Collector of the amount due and the Collector shall proceed to recover that amount in the same manner as an arrear of land revenue.

Title: Amount Due to the Corporation to Be First Charge

State: Central

Year: 1956

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law, where a loan has been advanced to any person for the construction of a building or where a building has been transferred to any person, the amount due to the Corporation on account of the loan or transfer together with interest thereon shall be a first charge on the building so constructed or transferred. (2) The Corporation may also take such further security as it may consider necessary for advancing any loan or for transferring any building.

Title: Fund of the Corporation

(1) The Corporation shall have its own Fund and all receipts of the Corporation shall be carried thereto and all payments by the Corporation shall be made therefrom. (2) All moneys belonging to the Fund shall be deposited in such bank or invested in such manner as may be decided by the Corporation.

It shall be the general duty of the Corporation to carry on and promote trade, business and industry in Faridabad, to assist in the rehabilitation of displaced persons settled therein and to manage and develop the property of the Union vested in the Corporation.
