Title: Apportionment of Assets or Liabilities by Agreement

Title: Effect of Indorsement

The indorsement of a negotiable instrument followed by delivery transfers to the indorsee the property therein with the right of further negotiation; but the indorsement may, by express words, restrict or exclude such right, or may merely constitute the indorsee an agent to indorse the instrument, or to receive its contents for the indorser, or for some other specified person. Illustrations B signs the following indorsements on different negotiable instruments payable to bearer:-- (a) "Pay the contents to C only." (b) "Pay C for my use." (c) "Pay C or order for the account of B." (d) "The within must be credited to C." These indorsements exclude the right of further negotiation by C. (e) "Pay C." (f) "Pay C value in account with the Oriental Bank." (g) "Pay the contents to C, being part of the consideration in a certain deed of assignment executed by C to the indorser and others." These indorsements do not exclude the right of further negotiation by C.

Title: Schemes and Regulations to Be Laid Before Parliament

Every scheme and every regulation made under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of Parliament, while it is in session, for a total period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions, and, if, before the expiry of the session immediately following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid, both Houses agree in making any modification in the scheme or regulation or both Houses agree that the scheme or regulation should not be made, the scheme or regulation shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be; so, however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that scheme or regulation.

Title: Sending a Juvenile or Child Outside Jurisdiction

In the case of a juvenile or the child, whose ordinary place of residence lies outside the jurisdiction of the competent authority before which he is brought, the competent authority may, if satisfied after due inquiry that it is expedient so to do, send the juvenile or the child back to a relative or other person who is fit and willing to receive him at his ordinary place of residence and exercise proper care and control over him, notwithstanding that such place of residence is outside the jurisdiction of the competent authority; and the competent authority exercising jurisdiction over the place to which the juvenile or the child is sent shall in respect of any matter arising subsequently have the same powers in relation to the juvenile or the child as if the original order had been passed by itself.
