The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify any civil court or class of civil courts as the Tribunal or Tribunals having authority to exercise jurisdiction under this Act and may define the areas in which and the extent to which such jurisdiction may be exercised.

State Bank of India Subsidiary Banks Act, 1959 Section 4

Title: New Banks to Be Bodies Corporate

(1) Every new bank shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued in its name. (2) The body corporate constituting each of the new banks shall consist of the State Bank and other shareholders, if any, for the time being of the new bank. (3) Every new bank shall carry on the business of banking and other business in accordance with the provisions of this Act, and shall have power to acquire and hold properly, whether movable or immovable, for the purposes of its business and to dispose of the same.

Employment of Manual Scavengers Act 1993 Section 4

The State Government may, by a general or special order published in the Official Gazette, and upon such conditions, if any, as it any think fit to impose, exempt any area, category of buildings or class of persons from any provisions of this Act or from any specified requirement contained in this Act or any rule, order, notification or scheme made thereunder or dispense with the observance of any such requirement in a class or classes of cases, if it is satisfied that compliance with such provisions or such requirement is or ought to be exempted or dispenses with in the circumstances of the case.

Coal Mines Taking over of Management Act 1973 Section 4

Title: Contract Regarding Management of Coal Mines to Be Deemed to Have Terminated on the Appointed Day

Any contract, whether express or implied, providing for the management of any coal mine, made before the appointed day between the owner of such mine and any person in charge of the management of such mine immediately before the appointed day shall be deemed to have terminated on the appointed day.
