Title: Punishment for Offences Under This Act

(1) Whoever swears falsely in any oath or affidavit taken or made in accordance with the provisions of this Act shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine. (2) Whoever forges or fraudulently alters the seal or signature of any person authorized by or under this Act to administer an oath or tenders in evidence, or otherwise uses, any affidavit having any seal or signature so forged or counterfeited or fraudulently altered knowing the same to be forged, counterfeited or fraudulently altered, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine.

Representation of the People (Second Amendment) Act, 2003 Section 4

(1) The Representation of the People (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003(Ord. 5 of 2003) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Representation of the People Act, 1950(43 of 1950) and the Representation of the People Act, 1951(43 of 1951) as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the said Acts, as amended by this Act.

Dramatic Performances Act, 1876 Section 4

Title: Power to Serve Order of Prohibition. Penalty for Disobeying Order

Year: 1876

A copy of any such order may be served on any person about to take part in the performance so prohibited, or on the owner or occupier of any house, room or place in which such performance is intended to take place; and any person on whom such copy is served, and who does, or willingly permits, any act in disobedience to such order, shall be punished on conviction before a Magistrate with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine, or with both.

Title: Abolition Etc., of Mining Concessions

.....specified in the Second Schedule shall, on and from the day next after the date of grant of the said concession and specified in the corresponding entry in the eighth column of the said Schedule, be deemed to have been abolished and shall, with effect from that day, be deemed to be a mining lease granted under the Mines and Minerals Act, and the provisions of that Act shall, save as otherwise provided in this Act, apply to such mining lease. (3) If, after the date of assent, the Central Government is satisfied, whether from any information received by it or otherwise, that there has been any error, omission or misdescription in relation to the particulars of any mining concession or the name and residence of any concession holder specified in the First or the Second Schedule, it may, by notification, correct such error, omission or misdescription, and on the issue of such notification, the First or the Second Schedule, as the case may be, shall be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
