North-eastern Hill University Act, 1973 Section 39

Title: Mode of Proof of University Record

A copy of any receipt, application, notice, order, proceeding, resolution of any authority or Committee of the University, or other documents in possession of the University, or any entry in any register duly maintained by the University, if certified by the Registrar, shall be received as prima facie evidence of such receipt, application, notice, order, proceeding or resolution, documents or the existence of entry in the register and shall be admitted as evidence of the matters and transactions therein where the original thereof would, if produced, have been admissible in evidence, notwithstanding anything contained in the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 or in any other law for the time being in force.

Title: Power to Make Regulations

.....power, such regulations may provide for- (a) the times and places of the meetings of the Board or of any Committee constituted under this Act and the procedure to be followed at such meetings including the quorum necessary for the transaction of business; (b) the fees and allowances that may be paid to the directors and the members of a Committee; (c) the form and manner in which the balance-sheets and the account of the Export Development Fund and the Exim Bank shall be prepared; (d) the duties and conduct and the terms and conditions of service of the officers and other employees of the Exim Bank; (e) the establishment and maintenance of Provident Fund or any other fund for the benefit of the officers and other employees of the Exim Bank; and (f) any other matter which is to be, or may be, prescribed. Where any body corporate constituted under a Central Act or a State Act for the existing Union territory, or any part thereof, has, by virtue of the provisions of Part II, become an inter-State body corporate, the investments in, or loans or advances to, any such body by the Union made before the appointed day shall be divided between the State of Goa and the Union in such manner as may be agreed between them before the expiration of one year from the appointed day, or in default of such agreement in such manner as the Central Government may, by order, direct.

In the case of more than one copy of the same issue of a registered newspaper being carried in the same packet for a weight not exceeding one hundred grams 5 paise. for every additional one hundred grams or fraction thereof, in excess of one hundred grams 10 paise : Provided that such packet shall not be delivered at any addressees residence but shall be given to a recognised agent at the Post Office".

National Dairy Development Board Act, 1987 Section 39

Title: Transitional Provisions for Auditors
