Indian Forest Act, 1927 Section 38

Title: Protection of Forests at Request of Owners

State: Central

Year: 1927

(1) The owner of any land or, if there be more than one owner thereof, the owners of shares therein amounting in the aggregate to at least two-thirds thereof may, with a view to the formation or conservation of forests thereon, represent in writing to the Collector their desire- (a) that such land be managed on their behalf by the Forest-officer as a reserved or a protected forest on such terms as may be mutually agreed upon; or (b) that all or any of the provisions of this Act be applied to such land. (2) In either case, the1[State Government ] may, by notification in the2[Official Gazette], apply to such land such provisions of this Act as it thinks suitable to the circumstances thereof and as may be desired b y the applicants. ___________________ _ 1. Title: As to Removal of Officers by Her Majesty

Any Writing under the Royal Sign Manual, removing or dismissing any Person holding any Office, Employment, or Commission, Civil or Military, in India, of which, if this Act had been passed, a Copy would have been required to be transmitted or delivered within Eight Days after being signed by Her Majesty to the Chairman or Deputy Chairman of the Court of Directors shall, in lieu thereof, be communicated within the Time aforesaid to the Secretary of State in Council.

Title: Schemes for Ensuring Employment of Persons Withdisabilities

(1) The appropriate Governments and local authorities shall by notification formulate schemes for ensuring employment of persons with disabilities, and such schemes may provide for-- (a) the training and welfare of persons with disabilities; (b) the relaxation of upper age limit; (c) regulating the employment; (d) health and safety measures and creation of a non-handicapping environment in places where persons with disabilities are employed; (e) the manner in which and the persons by whom the cost of operating the schemes is to be defrayed; and (f) constituting the authority responsible for the administration of the scheme.

Tripura University Act 2006 Section 38

Title: Right to Appeal

Every employee or student of the University or of a College or Institution maintained by the University or admitted to its privileges shall, notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, have a right to appeal within such time as may be prescribed by the Statutes, to the Executive Council against the decision of any officer or authority of the University or of the Principal or the management of any College or an Institution, as the case may be, and thereupon the Executive Council may confirm, modify or reverse the decision appealed against.

Air Corporations Act, 1953 [Repealed] Section 38

Title: Corporations to Act in Mutual Consultation

It shall be the duty of each of the Corporations to enter into consultations with the other in matters of common interest to the two Corporations including, in particular, the operation of scheduled air transport services, the routes on which such services should be operated by each of the Corporations, the frequency of such services, the passenger fares and freight rates to be charged, the measures of economy to be adopted, the provision of any services in regard to over-haul and maintenance of aircraft or any other matter falling within the scope of the functions of either of the Corporations, and, generally, in regard to ensuring the fullest co-operation and co-ordination in respect of all such matters.

Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 [Repealed] Section 38

(1) In the discharge of its functions, the Central Commission shall be guided by such directions in matters of policy involving public interest as the Central Government may give to it in writing. Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing Regulation Act 1976 Section 38

Title: Marketing Development Fund

Year: 1976

.....on duty, medical aid, pension or provident fund to the persons employed by the Board and leave and pension contributions to Government servants on deputation; (ix) payment of travelling and other allowances to the members and employees of the Board; (x) propaganda, demonstration and publicity in favour of agricultural improvements; (xi) production and betterment of agricultural produce; (xii) meeting any legal expenses incurred by the Board; (xiii) imparting education in marketing of agricultural produce; (xiv) construction of godowns; (xv) expenses incurred in auditing the accounts of the Board; (xvi) with the previous sanction of the Administrator, any other purpose which is calculated to promote the general interest of the Board and the Market Committees or the national or, public interest; Provided that, if the Board decides to give aid of more than five thousand rupees to a financially weak Market Committee under clause (vii), prior approval of the Administrator to such payment shall be obtained.
