(1) Nothing in this Act or in any rule or bye-law made thereunder shall beconstrued as requiring the taking out of any licence or the obtaining of any permission under this Act or any such rule or bye-law in respect of any place in the occupation or under the control of the Central or the State Government or in respect of any property of the Central or the State Government. (2) Save in so far as they levy of any tax or continuation of levy of anytax on any property of the Union is permissible under Article 285 of the Constitution of India, the property of the Union shall be exempt from any tax levied under this Act.

(1) The provisions of this Part, with respect to unregistered companies shall be in addition to and not in derogation of, any provisions hereinbefore in this Act contained with respect to the winding up of companies by the Tribunal. (2) The Tribunal or Official Liquidator may exercise any powers or do any act in the case of unregistered companies which might be exercised or done by the Tribunal or Official Liquidator in winding up of companies formed and registered under this Act: Provided that an unregistered company shall not, except in the event of its being wound up, be deemed to be a company under this Act, and then only to the extent provided by this Part.

Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 Section 377

Title: Suspension or Refusal of Licence in Default

(1) If any person, after notice given to him in that behalf by the Commissioner, fails within the period and in the manner laid down in the said notice to carry out any of the works specified in section 376 the Commissioner may, with the sanction of the standing committee, suspend the licence of the said person or may refuse to grant him a licence until such works have been completed. (2) It shall not be lawful for any person to open or keep open any such market after such suspension or refusal.

Title: Of Unnatural Offences : Unnatural Offences

Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with 1 [imprisonment for life], or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine. Explanation.--Penetration is sufficient to constitute the carnal intercourse necessary to the offence described in this section. _______________________ 1. Title: Appeal by the State Government Against Sentence

.....also direct] the Public Prosecutor to present an appeal to the High Court against the sentence on the ground of its inadequacy.
