Title: Regulations Ad to Be Appointments and Admissions to Service

Save as herein-before provided, all Powers of making Regulations in relation to Appointments and Admissions to Service and other Matters connected therewith, and of altering or revoking such Regulations, which if this Act had not been passed might have been exercised by the Court of Directors or Commissioners for the Affairs of India, may be exercised by the Secretary of State in Council, and all Regulations in force at the Time of the Commencement of this Act in relation to the Matters aforesaid shall remain in force subject nevertheless to Alteration or Revocation by the Secretary of State in Council as aforesaid.

(1) The University shall constitute for the benefit of its employees such provident fund or pension fund or provide such insurance schemes as it may deem fit in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (1) For the purpose of settling disputes between buyers and sellers of agricultural produce or their agents including any disputes regarding quality or weight or payment, or any matter in relation to the regulation of marketing of agricultural produce in the market area, the Market Committee constituted for that market area may appoint arbitrators or constitute from amongst its members a sub-committee. (2) The method of appointment of arbitrators, the constitution and function of the sub-committees and the fees, if any, that may be paid by parties for the settlement of disputes shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) Any party, aggrieved by the decision of the arbitrator or the sub-committee, may prefer an appeal from such decision to the Board in such manner and within such time as may be prescribed.
