New Delhi Municipal Council Act 1994 Section 326

Title: Factory, Etc., Not to Be Established Without Permission of the Chairperson

(1) No person shall, without the previous permission in writing of the Chairperson, establish in any premises, or materially alter, enlarge or extend, any factory, workshop or trade premises in which it is intended to employ steam, electricity, water or other mechanical power. (2) The Chairperson may refuse to give such permission, if he is of the opinion that the establishment, alteration, enlargement or extension of such factory, workshop or trade premises, in the proposed position would be objectionable by reason of the density of the population in the neighbourhood thereof, or would be a nuisance to the inhabitants of the neighbourhood.

KARNATAKA MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1976 Section 326

Title: Prohibition of construction of wells, tanks, etc., without the Commissioner's permission

(1) No new well, tank, pond, cistern, fountain or the like shall be dug or constructed without the permission of the commissioner. (2) The Commissioner may grant permission, with or without conditions, or may refuse, it. (3) If any such work is begun or completed without such permission, the Commissioner may either,- (a) by notice require the owner or other person who has done such work to fill up or demolish such work in such manner as he shall direct; or (b) grant permission to retain such work, but such permission shall not exempt such owner from proceedings for contravening the provisions of sub-section(1).

Title: Voluntarily Causing Grievous Hurt by Dangerous Weapons or Means

Whoever, except in the case provided for by section 335, voluntarily causes grievous hurt by means of any instrument for shooting, stabbing or cutting, or any instrument which, used as a weapon of offence, is likely to cause death, or by means of fire or any heated substance, or by means of any poison or any corrosive substance, or by means of any explosive substance, or by means of any substance which it is deleterious to the human body to inhale, to swallow, or to receive into the blood, or by means of any animal, shall be punished with 1 [imprisonment For life], or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine. _______________________ 1. Cantonments Act, 2006 Section 326

Title: Procedure for Convening Committee of Arbitration

When a Committee of Arbitration is to be convened, the Board shall cause a public notice to be published stating the matter to be determined, and shall forthwith send copies of the order to the District Magistrate, and to the other party concerned, and shall, as soon as may be, nominate such members of the Committee as it is entitled to nominate under section 327, and by notice in writing call upon the other persons who are entitled to nominate a member or members of the Committee to nominate such member or members in accordance with provisions of that section.

Companies Act, 2013, Section 326

Title: Overriding Preferential Payments

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or any other law for the time being in force, in the winding up of a company,-- (a) workmen's dues; and (b) debts due to secured creditors to the extent such debts rank under clause (iii) of the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 325 pari passu with such dues, shall be paid in priority to all other debts: Provided that in case of the winding up of a company, the sums towards wages or salary referred to in sub-clause (i) of clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 325, which are payable for a period of two years preceding the winding up order or such other period as may be prescribed, shall be paid in priority to all other debts (including debts due to secured creditors), within a period of thirty days of sale of assets and shall be subject to such charge over the security of secured creditors as may be prescribed. (2) The debts payable under the proviso to sub-section (1) shall be paid in full before any payment is made to secured creditors and thereafter debts payable under that sub-section shall be paid in full, unless the assets are insufficient to meet them, in which case they shall abate in equal proportions.
