Title: Precautions Against Fire

(1) The Commissioner may by notice require the owner of any structure, booth or tent, partly or entirely composed of or having any external roof, verandah, pendal, fence, or wall partly or entirely composed of cloth, grass, leaves, mats or other inflammable materials to remove or alter such structure, booth, tent, roof, verandah, pendal, fence or wall, or may grant him permission to retain the same on such conditions as the Commissioner may think necessary to prevent danger from fire. (2) The Commissioner may by notice require any person using any place for the storage for private use of timber firewood or other combustible things to take special steps to guard against danger from fire. Title: Procedure when Magistrate Can Not Pass Sentence Sufficiently Severe

(1) Whenever a Magistrate is of opinion, after hearing the evidence for the prosecution and the accused, that the accused is guilty, and that he ought to receive a punishment different in kind from, or more severe than, that which such Magistrate is empowered to inflict, or, being a Magistrate of the second class, is of opinion that the accused ought to be required to execute a bond under section 106, he may record the opinion and submit his proceedings, and forward the accused, to the Chief Judicial Magistrate to whom he is subordinate. (2) When more accused than one are being tried together, and the Magistrate considers it necessary to proceed under sub-section (1) in regard to any of such accused, he shall forward all the accused, who are in his opinion guilty, to the Chief Judicial Magistrate. (3) The Chief Judicial Magistrate to whom the proceedings are submitted may, if he thinks fit, examine the parties and recall and examine any witness who has already given evidence in the case and may call for and take any further evidence, and shall pass such judgment, sentence or order in the case as he thinks fit, and as is according to law.

(ii)The Chairperson may remove and sell by auction or otherwise dispose of anyanimal or carcass of any animal or any flesh seized under clause (i) of thissub-section. (v) Noclaim shall lie against any person for compensation for any damage necessarilycause by any such entry or by the use of any force necessary for affecting suchentry.

Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 Section 325

Title: Power of Government to Make Model Bye-laws and Adoption of Such Bye-laws by Municipal Councils

.....(3) If a municipal council proposes to adopt the model bye-laws in respect of any matter subject to any modifications, the procedure specified in subsections (4), (5) and (6) of section 324 shall be followed as if the modifications were bye-laws proposed to be made by the municipal council. The modifications as approved by the Government shall be published in the prescribed manner and the model bye-laws shall subject to such modifications come into force from such date as may be specified by the municipal council and where no date is specified on the date of such publication. (4) (a) The Government may by order direct any municipal council to adopt the model bye-laws in respect of any matter, within such period not being less than three months from the date of receipt of the direction by the municipal council. (b) If the municipal council fails to take any action for adopting the model bye-laws with or without modifications, the Government may by notification declare that the said model bye-laws shall come into force in the said1[municipal area] from such date as may be specified in such notification, and such bye-laws shall come into force accordingly. Title: Application of Insolvency Rules in Winding Up of Insolvent Companies
