Title: Right of User of Property for Laying Sewers

(1) The corporation may place and maintain sewers over, under, along or across any immovable property whether within or outside the local limits of the corporation, without acquiring the same, and any officer or servant of the corporation may at any time for the purpose of examining, repairing, altering or removing any sewer enter on any property over, under, along or across which the sewers have been laid: Provided that the corporation shall not acquire any right other than a right of user in property over, under, along or across which any sewer is laid. (2) In exercise of the powers conferred under this section, the corporation shall cause as little damage as may be possible, and shall make full compensation for any damage caused by it.

Title: Regulation of Washing of Clothes by Washermen

(2) The municipal council shall provide suitable places for the exerciseby washermen of their calling and may require payment of such fees for the use of any such place as shall from time to time be determined by it with the approval of the Government. (3) The municipal council shall, before issuing any public notice under sub-section (1), publish in such manner as shall in its opinion be sufficient, for the information of persons likely to be affected thereby, a list of washing places proposed to be provided under sub-section (2), together with a notice specifying a date on or after which the list will be taken into consideration; and shall, before finally fixing the said places, receive and consider any objection or suggestion in respect thereto which may be made in writing by any person before the date so specified.

Title: Ships with Certificates of Survey or Certificates of Partial Survey Granted Outside India

.....declared that it is satisfied that an official survey at a port in a country outside India specified in the declaration is such as to prove that the requirements of this Act have been substantially complied with, any person authorised by the Central Government in this behalf may exercise the power to dispense with a survey and to give a certificate conferred on the Central Government by sub-section (1) in the case of any ship furnished with a valid certificate of survey granted at such port. (3) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall be applicable in the case of ships furnished with valid certificates of partial survey including docking certificates, as if they were ships furnished with like certificates granted at ports in countries outside India subject to the modification that the powers of the Central Government under the said sub-section may be exercised by any person authorised by the Central Government in this behalf.

Title: Power to Remove Brothels and Prostitutes

The1[Officer Commanding the station]2[or the Board] may, on receiving information that any building in the cantonment is used as a brothel or for purposes of prostitution, by order in writing setting forth the substance of the information received, summon the owner, lessee, tenant or occupier of the building to appear before him2[or the Board, as the case may be] either in person or by an authorised agent, and, if the3[Officer Commanding the station]2[or the Board] is then satisfied as to the truth of the information,4[the Officer Commanding the station or, as the case may be, the Board may], by order in writing, direct the owner, lessee, tenant or occupier, as the case may be, to discontinue such use of the building with such period as may be specified in the order. ________________________ 1. Title: Power to Acquire Shares of Shareholders Dissenting from Scheme or Contract Approved by Majority

.....company as the holder of those shares; and (b) within one month of the date of such registration, inform the dissenting shareholders of the fact of such registration and of the receipt of the amount or other consideration representing the price payable to them by the transferee company. (4) Any sum received by the transferor company under this section shall be paid into a separate bank account, and any such sum and any other consideration so received shall be held by that company in trust for the several persons entitled to the shares in respect of which the said sum or other consideration were respectively received and shall be disbursed to the entitled shareholders within sixty days.
