Whoever intentionally offers any insult, or causes any interruption to any public servant, while such public servant is sitting in any stage of a judicial proceeding, shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both. Where an agent does more than he is authorized to do, and what he does beyond the scope of his authority cannot be separated from what is within it, the principal is not bound to recognize the transaction. Illustration A, authorizes B to buy 500 sheep for him. B buys 500 sheep and 200 lambs for one sum of 6,000 rupees. A may repudiate the whole transaction.

Title: Cancellation or Suspension of Certificate of Survey by Central Government

(1) Any certificate of survey granted under this Part may be cancelled or suspended by the Central Government if it has reason to believe (a) that the declaration by the surveyor of the sufficiency of the hull, boilers, engines or any of the equipment of the ship has been fraudulently or erroneously made; or (b) that the certificate has otherwise been issued upon false of erroneous information. (2) Before any certificate of survey is cancelled or suspended under sub-section (1), the holder of the certificate shall be given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause why the certificate should not be cancelled or suspended, as the case may be : Provided that this sub-section shall not apply where the Central Government is satisfied that for some reason to be recorded in writing it is not reasonably practicable to give to the holder of the certificate an opportunity of showing cause.

Title: Filthy Buildings, Etc.

(1) Whoever, being the owner or occupier of any building or land whether tenantable or otherwise, suffers the same to be in a filthy and unwholesome condition, or in the opinion of the municipal council a nuisance to persons residing in the neighbourhood, or overgrown with prickly-pear or rank and noisome vegetation, and who shall not, within a reasonable time after notice in writing by the municipal council to cleanse, clear or otherwise put the same in a proper condition, have complied with the requisition contained in such notice, shall be punished with fine which may extend to twenty-five rupees, and with further fine which may extend to five rupees for every day on which the failure to comply with the said notice is continued, after the date of the first conviction. (2) Should the condition of the building be such as in the opinion of the municipal council to render it unfit for human habitation, it may further, by written notice, prohibit the using thereof for that purpose until it is rendered fit.
