(6) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), the offences covered under sub-sections (5) and (6) of section 7, section 34, section 36, subsection (1) of section 38, sub-section (5) of section 46, sub-section (7) of section 56, subsection (10) of section 66, sub-section (5) of section 140, sub-section (4) of section 206, section 213, section 229, sub-section (1) of section 251, sub-section (3) of section 339 and section 448 which attract the punishment for fraud provided in section 447 of this Act shall be cognizable and no person accused of any offence under those sections shall be released on bail or on his own bond unless-- (i) the Public Prosecutor has been given an opportunity to oppose the application for such release; and (ii) where the Public Prosecutor opposes the application, the court is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing that he is not guilty of such offence and that he is not likely to commit any offence while on bail: Provided that a person, who, is under the age of sixteen years or is a woman or is sick or infirm, may be released on bail, if the Special Court so directs: Provided further.....

New Delhi Municipal Council Act 1994 Section 212

Title: Acquisition of Open Land and Land Occupied by Platform, Etc., Within the Regular Line of Street

State: Central

Year: 1994

If any land, whether open or enclosed, not vesting in the Council and not occupied by any building is within the regular line of a public street or if a platform, verandah, step, compound wall, hedge, or fence or some other structure external to a building abutting on a public street or a portion of such platform, verandah, step, compound wall, hedge, fence or other structure is within the regular line of such street, the Chairperson may, after giving to the owner of the land or building not less than seven clear days' notice of his intention so to do, take possession on behalf of the Council of the said land with its enclosing wall, hedge or fence, if any, or of the said platform, verandah, step, compound wall, hedge, fence or other structure or of any portion thereof which is within the regular line of the public street and, if necessary, clear the same and the land so acquired shall thereupon be deemed to be a part of the public street and shall vest in the Council. Provided that where the land or building is vested in the Union or a State the Chairperson shall not take possession thereof without the previous sanction of the Central Government.

Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act, 1993 Section 212

Title: Grama Panchayat Fund

(1) There shall be for each Grama Panchayat a Fund called the Grama Panchayat Fund. (2) The following shall form part of , or be paid into the Grama Panchayat Fund, namely:- (a) the amount which may be granted or passed on to the Grama Panchayat by the Government or the Zilla Panchayat or Taluk Panchayat under the provisions of this Act or any other Act, or on any other account; (b) the proceeds of any tax, rate and fee imposed by the Grama Panchayat; (c) all sums received by the Grama Panchayat by way of loans or contributions from the Government or any other authority or person or by way of gift; (d) the rent or other income from, or sale proceeds of any immoveable or movable property owned by or vested in the Grama Panchayat; and (e) all other sums received from any source whatsoever. (3) The amount at the credit of the Grama Panchayat Fund shall be kept in the Government Treasury of the Taluk or with the approval of the Executive Officer in any scheduled bank or a co-operative bank situated in the panchayat area or the neighboring panchayat area.

(4) Every rule made by the Central Government under this Act, every scheme made by the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 75 and sub-section (1) of section 163 and every notification issued by the Central Government under sub-section (4) of section 41, sub-section (1) of section 58, sub-section (1) of section 59, the proviso to sub-section (I) of section 112, 1[sub-section (4) of section 163A] and sub-section (4) of section 213 shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of Parliament while it is in session for a total period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions, and if, before the expiry of the session immediately following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid, both Houses agree in making any modification in the rule, scheme or notification or both Houses agree that the rule or scheme should not be made or the notification should not he issued, the rule, scheme or notification shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect is the case may be; so, however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without.....

Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 Section 212

Title: Power to Cut off Water Supply

.....connected with the corporation water supply to be placed, removed, repaired or otherwise interfered with in contravention of the provisions of this Act, the rules or bye-laws made thereunder: Provided that the Commissioner shall not cut off the supply of water unless notice of not less than three days has been given to the owner or occupier of the premises. (2) (a) The owner and the occupier of the premises shall be jointly and severally liable for the payment of all the sums referred to in clause (c) of sub-section (1). (b) The sums referred to in clause (a) shall be a charge on the premises. (3) The expenses of cutting off the supply shall be payable by the owner and occupier of the premises jointly and severally. (4) In respect of any premises from which water supply is cut off under clause (c) of sub-section (1), as soon as any money for non-payment of which water has been cut off together with the expenses of cutting off the supply has been paid by the owner or occupier, the Commissioner shall cause water to be supplied as before on payment of the cost of re-connecting the premises with the water works. Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 Section 212

Title: Particulars as to Time, Place and Person

(1) The charge shall contain such particulars as to the time and place of the alleged offence, and the person (if any) against whom, or the thing (if any) in respect of which, it was committed, as are reasonably sufficient to give the accused notice of the matter with which he is charged. (2) When the accused is charged with criminal breach of trust or dishonest misappropriation of money or other moveable property, it shall be sufficient to specify the gross sum or, as the case may be, described the movable property in respect of which the offence is alleged to have been committed, and the dates between which the offence is alleged to have been committed, without specifying particular items or exact dates, and the charge so framed shall be deemed to be a charge of one offence within the meaning of section 219: Provided that the time included between the first and last of such dates shall not exceed one year.

Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 Section 212

Title: Removal and Trimming of Hedges, Trees, Etc.

The municipal council may, by written notice, require the owner or occupier of any land so to trim or prune the hedges thereof bordering any public street that the said hedges may not exceed the height of four feet from the level of the street, and width of four feet, and to cut down, lop or trim all trees or shrubs which in any way overhang, endanger, or obstruct, or which it deems likely to overhang, endanger, or obstruct any public street or to cause damage thereto, or which so overhang any public tank, well or other provision for water supply as to pollute or be likely to pollute the water thereof.

Title: Official Logs to Be Kept and to Be Dated

(1) An official log shall be kept in the prescribed form in every Indian ship except a home-trade ship of less than two hundred tons gross.
