Title: Threat of Injury to Induce Person to Refrain from Applying for Protection to Public Servant

State: Central

Whoever holds out any threat of injury to any person for the purpose of inducing that person to refrain or desist from making a legal application for protection against any injury to any public servant legally empowered as such to give such protection, or to cause such protection to be given, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine, or with both, STATE AMENDMENTS 1Andhra Pradesh Offence under section 190 is cognizable. ______________________ 1. Title: Effect of Suspension and Remission on Dismissal.

(1) Where in addition to any other sentence the punishment of dismissal has been awarded by a court-martial, and such other sentence is suspended under section 182, then, such dismissal shall not take effect until so ordered by the authority or offecier specified in section 182. (2) If such other sentence is remitted under section 186, the punishment of dismissal shall also be remitted.

Title: Resolutions Requiring Special Notice

(1) Where, by any provision contained in this Act or in the articles, special notice is required of any resolution, notice of the intention to move the resolution shall be given to the company not less than1[fourteen days] before the meeting at which it is to be moved, exclusive of the day on which the notice is served or deemed to be served and the day of the meeting. 2[(2) The company shall immediately after the notice of the intention to move any such resolution has been received by it, give its members notice of the resolution in the same manner as it gives notice of the meeting, or if that is not practicable, shall give them notice thereof, either by advertisement in a newspaper having an appropriate circulation or in any other mode allowed by the articles, not less than seven days before the meeting.] ______________________ 1 . Title: Misconduct Endangering Life or Ship

No master, seaman, or apprentice belonging to an Indian ship, wherever it may be, or to any other ship, while in India, shall knowingly (a) do anything tending to the immediate loss or destruction of, or serious damage to, the ship, or tending immediately to endanger the life of, or to cause injury to any person belonging to or on board the ship; or (b) refuse or omit to do any lawful act proper and requisite to be done by him for preserving the ship from immediate loss, destruction or serious damage, or for preserving any person belonging to or on board the ship from danger to life or from injury.

Income Tax Act, 1961 Section 190

Title: Deduction at Source and Advance Payment
