Title: Contamination of Public Conveyance

Whoever in a cantonment-- (a) uses a public conveyance while suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, or (b) uses a public conveyance for the carriage of a person who is suffering from any such disease, or (c) uses a public conveyance for the carriage of the corpse of a person who has died from any such disease, shall be bound to take proper precautions against the communication of the disease to other persons using or who may thereafter use the conveyance and to notify such use to the owner, driver or person incharge of the Conveyance, and further to report without delay to the Chief Executive Officer the number of the conveyance and the name of the person so notified.

Where a thing specifically bequeathed undergoes a change between the date of the will and the testator's death, and the change takes place without the knowledge or sanction of the testator, the legacy is not adeemed. (1) Every person whose name appears in the electoral roll relating to a constituency shall subject to the other provisions of this Act, be entitled to vote at any election which takes place in that constituency while the electoral roll remains in force and no person whose name does appear in such electoral roll shall vote at any such election. (2) No person shall vote at an election under this Act in more than one constituency or more than once in the same constituency and if he does so, all his votes shall be invalid.

Title: Powers and Duties of Arbitrator

(1) The arbitrator shall give notice of his proceedings and conduct them in the manner prescribed and communicate the substance of his award in writing to the parties concerned: Provided that every party to such proceedings shall be entitled to appear before the arbitrator either in person or by his authorised agent. (2) The arbitrator shall have all the powers of a civil court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act V of 1908), for the purpose of taking evidence on oath and of enforcing the attendance of witnesses and compelling the production of documents and other material objects. (3) The costs of and incidental to all proceedings before the arbitrator shall be in his discretion and the arbitrator shall have full power to determine by whom or out of what property and to what extent such costs are to be paid and to give all necessary directions for the purpose.

Title: Consent, Etc., of a Competent Authority May Be Proved by Writing Under His Signature

Title: Eviction from Requisitioned Premises

(1) Any person remaining in possession of any requisitioned premises in contravention of any order made under section 160 may be summarily evicted from the premises by any officer empowered by the State Government in this behalf. ' (2) Any officer so empowered may, after giving to any woman not appearing in public reasonable warning and facility to withdraw, remove or open any lock or bolt or break open any door of any building or do any other act necessary for effecting such eviction.

Title: Unlawfully Bringing Dangerous Goods on a Railway

If any person, in contravention of section 67, takes with him any dangerous goods or entrusts such goods for carriage to the railway administration, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both and shall also be liable for any' loss, injury or damage which may be caused by reason of bringing such goods on the railway.

Title: Places for Slaughter of Animals for Sale

(1) The Nagar Panchayat or, as the case may be, the Council may and when required by the Government shall fix places with the approval of the State Government for slaughter of animals for sale, and the Nagar Panchayat or Council may grant and withdraw licence for the use of such premises, or, if they vest in the Nagar Panchayat or Council, may charge rent for fees of the use of the places. (2) When any such premises have been fixed, no person shall slaughter any such animal for sale within the Municipal area at any other place (3) Any person who slaughters for sale any animals at any place within the Municipal area other than the one fixed by the Nagar Panchayat or as the case may be, the Council under this section shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
