Title: Execution of Sentence of Imprisonment in Special Cases

Whenever, in the opinion of an officer not below the rank of Deputy Inspector-General within whose command the trial is held, any sentence or portion of a sentence of imprisonment cannot for special reasons, conveniently be carried out in Force custody in accordance with the provisions of section 143, such officer may direct that such sentence or portion of sentence shall be carried out by confinement in any civil prison or other fit place.

Title: Power to Require Land or Building to Be Cleansed

(1) If any building or land, whether tenantable or otherwise, is-- (i) in an insanitary, filthy or unwholesome state; or (ii) in the opinion of the Chief Executive Officer, a nuisance to persons residing in the neighbourhood; or (iii) overgrown with prickly-pear or rank and noisome vegetation the Chief Executive Officer may, by notice in writing, require the owner, lessee or occupier of such building or land to clean, lime-wash internally or externally, clear, or otherwise put such building or land in a proper state within such period as may be specified in the notice. (2) Any person who fails to comply with the notice issued under sub-section (1) shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, and, in the case of a continuing offence, with an additional fine which may extend to two hundred fifty rupees for each day after the first during which the offence continues.

Title: Procedure Where Dispute Concerning Land or Water is Likely to Cause Breach of Peace

.....attend his Court in person or by pleader, on a specified date and time, and to put in written statements of their respective claims as respects the fact of actual possession of the subject of dispute. (2) For the purposes of this section, the expression "land or water" includes buildings, markets, fisheries, crops or other produce of land, and the rents or profits of any such property. Title: Application of Part to Charges Requiring Registration Under It but Not Under Previous Law

In respect of1[any charge created before, and remaining unsatisfied at, the commencement of this Act,] which, if this Act had been in force at the relevant time, would have had to be registered by the company in pursuance of this Part but which did not require registration under the Indian Companies Act, 1913 (7 of 1913) and in respect of all matters-relating to such charge, the provisions of this Part shall apply and have effect in all respects, as if the date of commencement of this Act had been substituted therein for the date of creation of the charge, or the date of completion of the acquisition of the property subject to the charge, as the case may be. Nothing contained in this section shall be deemed to affect the relative priorities as they existed immediately before the commencement of this Act, as between charges on the same property. ________________________ 1.
