Indian Treasure Trove Act, 1878 Section 13

Title: In Case of Dispute as to Ownership of Place, Proceedings to Be Stayed

State: Central

Year: 1878

When a declaration has been made as aforesaid in respect of any treasure, and two or more persons have appeared as aforesaid and each of them claimed as owner of the place where such treasure of was found, or the right of any person who has so appeared and claimed is disputed by the finder of such treasure, the Collector shall retain such treasure and shall make an order staying his proceedings with a view to the matter being inquired into and determined by a Civil Court.

Levy Sugar Price Equalisation Fund Act, 1976 Section 13

Title: Penalties

(1) If any producer-- (a) makes any default in crediting to the Fund any excess realisations made by him or any part thereof,1[any excess realisation made by him or any interest due on such excess realisation or any part or such excess realisation or interest] or (b) having been required by the Central Government so to do, omits or fails to-- (i) maintain any books, accounts or other records in relation to levy sugar, or (ii) maintain any books, accounts or other records for inspection, or (iii) furnish any information or furnishes any information which is incorrect or false in material particulars, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both. (2) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act except on the complaint in writing made by the Central Government or by any officer or authority authorized, in writing, by that Government in this behalf. ________________________ 1. National Library of India Act, 1976 Section 13

Title: Authentication of Orders and Other Instruments of Board and Executive Council

(1) All orders and decisions of the Board shall be authenticated by the signature of the Chairman or any other member authorised by the Board in this behalf and all other instruments issued by the Board shall be authenticated by the signature of an officer of the Board authorised in like manner in this behalf. (2) All orders and decisions of the Executive Council shall be authenticated by the signature of the Director of the Library.

National Dairy Development Board Act, 1987 Section 13

Title: Allowances, Etc., of Members of Management Committees

(1) The members of any management committee, other than the Chairman and whole-time directors, may be paid such allowances, if any, as may be prescribed, for attending the meetings of the management committee or for attending to any other work of the National Dairy Development Board. (2) All other matters pertaining to the conduct of proceedings of the management committees shall be such as may be prescribed.

Armed Forces Tribunal Act 2007 Section 13

(1) The Central Government shall determine the nature and categories of the officers and other employees required to assist the Tribunal in the discharge of its functions and provide the Tribunal with such officers and other employees as it may think fit. (2) The salaries and allowances payable to, and the other terms and conditions of service of the officers and other employees of the Tribunal shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) The officers and other employees of the Tribunal shall discharge their functions under the general superintendence of the Chairperson.
