Title: Power for Local Authority to Require Removal or Alteration of Telegraph Line or Post

When, under the foregoing provisions of this Act, a telegraph line or post has been placed by the telegraph authority under, over, along, across, in or upon any property vested in or under the control or management of a local authority, and the local authority, having regard to circumstances which have arisen since the telegraph line or post was so placed, considers it expedient that it should be removed or that its position should be altered, the local authority may require the telegraph authroity to remove it or alter its poistion, as the case may be.

Title: Orders of Commission May Be Subject to Conditions, Etc

JURISDICTION, POWERS AND PROCEDURE OF THE CORPORATION 13. Orders of Commission may be subject to conditions, etc.- (1) In making any order under this Act, the Commission may make such provisions not inconsistent with this Act, as it may think necessary or desirable for the proper execution of the order and any person who commits a breach of or fails to comply with any obligation imposed on him by any such provision shall be deemed to be guilty of an offence under this Act. (2) Any order made by the Commission may be amended or revoked at any time in the manner in which it was made. (3) An order made by the Commission may be general in its application or may be limited to any particular class of traders or a particular class of trade practice or a particular trade practice or a particular locality.

1 [13. Provisions as to Instrument of Instructions (1) The Secretary of State shall by before Parliament the draft of any Instrument of Instructions (including any Instrument amending or revoking an Instrument previously issued) which it is proposed to recommend His Majesty to issue to the Governor-General, and no further proceedings shall be taken in relation thereto except in pursuance of an address presented to His Majesty; in both Houses of Parliament praying that the Instrument may be issued. (2) The validity of anything done by the Governor-General shall not be called in question on the ground that it was done otherwise than in accordance with any Instrument of Instructions issued to him. ___________________________ 1. Sections. 11-15 were omitted by the India (Provisional Constitution) Order, 1947.
