Title: Duty of Trustee, Etc., as to Accounts

It shall be the duty of every trustee, manager and superintendent of a mosque, temple or religious establishment ot which the provisions of this Act shall apply to keep regular accounts of his receipts and disbursements in respect of the endowments and expenses of such mosque, temple or other religious establishment; and of committee.and it shall be the duty of every committee of management, appointed or acting under the authority of this Act, to require from every trustee, manager and superintendent of such mosque, temple or other religious establishment, the production of such regular accounts of such receipts and disbursements at least once in every year; and every such committee of management shall themselves keep such accounts thereof.

Title: Gratuity, Welfare Fund and Other Funds

Title: If Mines Worked Contrary to Provisions of This Act, Appropriate Government May Require Means to Be Adopted for Safety of Land Acquired

If it appears that any such mines have been worked contrary to the provisions of this Act, the appropriate Government may, if it thinks fit, give notice to the owner, lessee or occupier thereof to construct such works and to adopt such means as may be necessary or proper for making safe the land acquired, and the works thereon, and preventing injury thereto ; and if, after such notice, any such owner, lessee or occupier dose nor forthwith proceed to construct the works necessary for making safe the land acquired and the works thereon, the appropriate Government may itself construct the works and recover the expense thereof from the owner, lessee or occupier.

Title: Power to Appoint Appellate Officers

(1) The State Government with the approval of the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint as many appellate officers as may be necessary for the purpose of hearing appeals against the orders of the competent officers and an appellate officer shall have jurisdiction over such local area or areas as may be specified in the notification. (2) No person shall be qualified to be appointed as an appellate officer under this Act unless such person-- (a) is, or has been, or is qualified for appointment as, a Judge of a High Court; or (b) is, or has been, a district judge.

All sums of money payable for compensation under this Part shall become due three months after the claim for such compensation is made in respect of the stoppage, diminution or damage complained of, and simple interest at the rate of six per cent.per annum shall be allowed on any such sum remaining unpaid after the said three months, except where the non-payment of such sum is caused by the willful neglect or refusal of the claimant to receive the same.(Interest)

Title: Rules May Under This Act to Be Laid Before Parliament

Every rule made under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of Parliament, while it is in session, for a total period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions, and if, before the expiry of the session immediately following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid, both Houses agree in making any modification in the rule or both Houses agree that the rule should not be made, the rule shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be; so, however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that rule.
