Border Security Force Act, 1968 Section 125

Title: Communication of Certain Orders to Prison Officers

Whenever an order is duly made under this Act setting aside or varying any sentence, order or warrant under which any person is confined in a civil prison, a warrant in accordance with such order shall be forwarded by the officer making the order or his staff officer or such other person as may be prescribed, to the officer in charge of the prison in which such person is confined.

Where the amount of punishment for any offence depends upon the intent with which it has been committed and any person is charged with having committed such an offence with an intent involving a greater degree of punishment, a court-martial may find that the offence was committed with an intent involving less degree of punishment and award such punishment accordingly.

Indian Succession Act, 1925 Section 125

Title: Bequest to Such of Certain Persons as Shall Be Surviving at Some Period Not Specified

Where a bequest is made to such of certain persons as shall be surviving at some period, but the exact period is not specified, the legacy shall go to such of them as are alive at the time of payment or distribution, unless a contrary intention appears by the will. Illustrations (i) Property is bequeathed to A and B to be equally divided between them, or to the survivor of them. If both A and B survive the testator, the legacy is equally divided between them. If A dies before the testator, and B survives the testator, it goes to B. (ii) Property is bequeathed to A for life, and, after his death, to B and C, to be equally divided between them, or to the survivor of them. B dies during the life of A; C survives A. At A's death the legacy goes to C. (iii) Property is bequeathed to A for life, and after his death to B and C, or the survivor, with a direction that, if B should not survive the testator, his children are to stand in his place. C dies during the life of the testator; B survives the testator, but dies in the lifetime of A. The legacy goes to the representative of B. (iv) Property is bequeathed to A for life, and, after his death, to B and C, with a direction.....

(1) No suit or prosecution shall be entertained in any court against the Board or against any officer or servant of the Board or against any person acting under the order or direction of the Board or any officer or servant of the Board for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder. (2) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any officer or servant of the Board for any act done or purporting to be done under this Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder without the previous sanction of the Board.

Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act, 1993 Section 125

Title: Right to Vote

(1) Every person whose name appears in the voters list relating to a constituency shall, subject to the other provisions of this Act, be entitled to vote at any election which takes place in that constituency while the voters list remains in force and no person whose name does not appear in such voters list shall vote at any such election. (2) No person shall vote at an election under this Act in more than one constituency or more than once in the same constituency and if he does so, all his votes shall be invalid.
