Karnataka Preservation of Trees Act 1976 Section 12

Title: Adoption of Trees

State: Karnataka

Year: 1976

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or in any other law for the time being in force, the Tree Authority may, subject to such terms and conditions as it may specify in that behalf, permit any individual, body corporate or institution to adopt any tree for such period as may be specified therein and during such period the said individual, body corporate or institution shall be responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the said tree.

Title: Procedure Before Revenue Tribunal

(1) The [1][Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal] shall, after giving notice to the appellant and the State Government decide the appeal and record its decision. If the estate officer has reason to believe that any persons are in unauthorised occupation of any public premises, the estate officer or any other officer authorised by him in this behalf may require those persons or any other person to furnish information relating to the names and other particulars of the persons in occupation of the public premises and every person so required shall be bound to furnish the information in his possession.

(1) The Central Government shall provide the National Tax Tribunal with such officers and employees as it may deem fit. (2) The salaries and allowances and other conditions of service of officers and employees of the National Tax Tribunal shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) The officers and employees of the National Tax Tribunal shall discharge their functions under the general superintendence of the Chairperson. (4) The officers and the other employees shall be appointed on the recommendations of a Selection Committee constituted by the Central Government.

Coast Guard Act, 1978 Section 12

An enrolled person who retires, or is discharged, released, removed or dismissed from the Coast Guard or permitted to resign therefrom, shall be furnished by the officer, to whose command he is subject, with a certificate in the language which is the mother tongue of such person and also in Hindi or English language setting forth-- (a) the authority terminating his service; (b) the reasons for such termination; and (c) the full period of his service in the Coast Guard.
