Title: Repeal of Bom. Xiii of 1924

.....notwithstanding anything in this Act as if they were cases, proceedings and appeals under this Act; (e) all appeals against orders of courts appointed under the repealed Act which would have laid under that Act shall be deemed to be appeals from orders made by courts under this Act and shall be presented to the courts empowered to hear appeals under this Act and shall be disposed of accordingly; (f) any appointment, notification, notice, order, rule or form made or issued under the repealed Act shall continue to be in force and be deemed to have been made or issued under the provisions of this Act in so far as such appointment, notification, notice, order, rule or form is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and shall continue to be in force unless and until it is superseded by any appointment, notification, notice, order, rule or form made or issued under this Act.

Title: Application for Transfer

(1) An application for the registration of a transfer of the shares or other interest of a member in a company may be made either by the transferor or by the transferee. (2) Where the application is made by the transferor and relates to partly paid shares, the transfer shall not be registered, unless the company gives notice of the application to the transferee and the transferee makes no objection to the transfer within two weeks from the receipt of the notice. (3) For the purposes of sub-section (2), notice to the transferee shall be deemed to have been duly given if it is despatched by prepaid registered post to the transferee at the address given in the instrument of transfer, and shall be deemed to have been duly delivered at the time at which it would have been delivered in the ordinary course of post.

.....of the meeting. (6) In the case of a meeting of the board or of a committee of the board, the minutes shall also contain-- (a) the names of the members of the board present at the meeting; and (b) in the case of each resolution passed at the meeting, the names of the members of the board, if any, dissenting from, or not concurring in, the resolution. (7) Nothing contained in sub-sections (1) to (6) shall be deemed to require the inclusion in any such minutes of any matter which, in the opinion of the chairperson of the meeting-- (a) is, or could reasonably be regarded as, defamatory of any person; (b) is irrelevant or immaterial to the proceedings; or (c) is detrimental to the interests of the multi-State co-operative society. Explanation.-- The chairperson shall exercise an absolute discretion in regard to the inclusion or non-inclusion of any matter in the minutes on the grounds specified in this sub-section.

Title: Temporary Provisions as to the Continuance of Certain Existing Road Transport Permits

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 63 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1939, a permit granted by the State or a Regional Transport Authority in an existing State, the whole or any part of the territories of which is transferred to another existing State or to a new State shall, if such permit was. immediately before the appointed day, valid and effective in any area in the territories so transferred, he deemed to continue to be valid and effective in that area after that day subject to the provisions of that Act as for the time being in force in that area; and it shall not be necessary for any such permit to be countersigned by any other State or Regional Transport Authority for the purpose of validating if for use in such transferred territories : Provided that the Central Government may, after consultation with the State Government or Governments concerned, add to, amend or vary the conditions attached to the permit by the Authority by which the permit was granted. (2) No tolls, entrance fees or other charges of a like nature shall be levied after the appointed day in1 respect of any transport vehicle for its operations in any transferred territory under any.....
