Title: Claims by Creditors Against Displaced Debtors

Any displaced person having a claim against a displaced debtor may make an application, in such form as may be prescribed, for the determination thereof to the Tribunal within the local limits of whose jurisdiction the displaced debtor actually and voluntarily resides, or carries on business, or personally works for gain, together with a statement of the debts owed to the creditor with full particulars thereof.

The objects of the Trust shall be-- (a) to enable and empower persons with disability to live as independently and as fully as possible within and as close to the community to which they belong; (b) to strengthen facilities to provide support to persons with disability to live within their own families; (c) to extend support to registered organisations to provide need based services during the period of crisis in the family of persons with disability; (d) to deal with problems of persons with disability who do not have family support; (e) to promote measures for the care and protection of persons with disability in the event of death of their parent or guardian; (i) to evolve procedure for the appointment of guardians and trustees for persons with disability requiring such protection; (g) to facilitate the realisation of equal opportunities, protection of rights and full participation of persons with disability; and (h) to do any other act which is incidental to the aforesaid objects.

Title: Appeal Against Non-registration or Cancellation

Any person aggrieved by a decision of the Registration Committee under S. 9 may, within a period of thirty days from the date on which the decision is communicated to him, appeal in the prescribed manner and on payment of the proscribed fee to the Central Government whosc decision thereon shall be final : Provided that the Central Government may entertain an appeal after the expiry of the said period, if it is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal in time.

Title: Functions of the Chief Executive Officer

.....of the Food Authority in the previous year; (b) programmes of work; (c) the annual accounts for the previous year; and (d) the budget for the coming year. (3) The Chief Executive Officer shall, following adoption by the Food Authority, forward the general report and the programmes to the Central Government and the State Governments and shall have them published. (4) The Chief Executive Officer shall approve all financial expenditure of the Food Authority and report on the Authority's activities to the Central Government. (5) The Chief Executive Officer shall exercise the powers of the Commissioner of Food Safety while dealing with matters relating to food safety of such articles. (6) The Chief Executive Officer shall have administrative control over the officers and other employees of the Food Authority.

Title: Absence of Registrar or Vacancy in His Office

(1) When any Registrar, other than the Registrar of a district including a Presidency-town, is absent otherwise than on duty in his district, or when his office is temporarily vacant, any person whom the Inspector-General appoints in this behalf, or, in default of such appointment, the Judge of the District Court within the local limits of whose jurisdiction the Registrar's office is situate, shall be the Registrar during such absence or until the1[State Government] fills up the vacancy. (2) When the Registrar of a district including a Presidency-town is absent otherwise than on duty in his district, or when his office is temporarily vacant, any person whom the Inspector-General appoints in this behalf shall be the Registrar during such absence, or until the1[State Government] fills up the vacancy. ________________________ 1.
