Central Provinces Court of Wards Act, 1899 Section 10

Title: Assumption of Superintendence to Be Notified and to Extend to Whole of Government Wards Property

(1)Whenever the Court of Wards assumes the superintendence of the property of anyperson under this Act, the fact of such assumption, and the date on which it wassanctioned by the 1 [2 [State] Government], shall benotified in the 3 [Official Gazette]. (2)On and with effect from the date of such sanction, the whole of the property,moveable and immoveable, of such person, whether the existence of any suchproperty may be known to the said Court or not, shall be deemed to be under thesuperintendence of the Court of Wards. (3)Any property which the Government ward may inherit subsequently to the date ofsuch sanction, shall also be deemed to be under the superintendence of the Courtof Wards. (4)The Court of Wards may, in its discretion, assume, or refrain from assuming, thesuperintendence of any property which the ward may acquire, otherwise than byinheritance, subsequently to the date of such notification. ________________________ 1.Substituted by the A. Infant Milk Substitutes, Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods (Regulation Ofproduction, Supply and Distribution) Act, 1992 Section 10

Title: Special Provision Relating to Employees of Person Who Produces, Supplies, Distributes or Sells Infant Milk Substitutes, Etc

(1) No person who produces, supplies, distributes or sells infant milk substitutes or feeding bottles or infant foods shall fix the remuneration of any of his employees or give any commission lo such employees on the basis of the volume of sale of such substitutes or bottles or foods made by such employees. (2) The employees of such person shall not perform any function which relates to educating a pregnant woman or mother of an infant on pre-natal or post-natal care of the infant.

Representation of the People Act, 1951 Section 10

Title: Disqualification for Office Under Government Company

A person shall be disqualified if, and for so long as, he is a managing agent, manager or secretary of any company or corporation (other than a co-operative society) in the capital of which the appropriate Government has not less than twenty-five per cent, share.

Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 Section 10

Title: Procedure for Transaction of Business

(1) The Commission shall meet regularly at its office at such time as the Chairperson thinks fit, but three months shall not intervene between its last and the next meeting. (2) All decisions at a meeting shall be taken by majority: Provided that in the case of equality of votes, the Chairperson, or in his absence the person presiding, shall have and exercise a second or casting vote. (3) If for any reason, the Chairperson, is unable to attend the meeting of the Commission, any Member chosen by the Members present from amongst themselves at the meeting, shall preside. (4) The Commission shall observe such rules of procedure in the transaction of its business at a meeting, including the quorum at such meeting, as may be prescribed by the Central Government. (5) All orders and decisions of the Commission shall be authenticated by the Member-Secretary or any other officer of the Commission duly authorised by Member-Secretary in this behalf.
