Title: Cheating by Personation

A person is said to "cheat by personation" if he cheats by pretending to be some other person, or by knowingly substituting one person for another, or representing that he or any other person is a person other than he or such other person really is. Explanation.--The offence is committed whether the individual personated is a real or imaginary person. Illustration (a) A cheats by pretending to be a certain rich banker of the same name. A cheats by personation. (b) A cheats by pretending to be B, a person who is deceased. A cheats by personation.

The President, the Chairperson or any Member may, by notice in writing under his hand addressed to the Central Government, resign from his office: Provided that the President, the Chairperson, or the Member shall continue to hold office until the expiry of three months from the date of receipt of such notice by the Central Government or until a person duly appointed as his successor enters upon his office or until the expiry of his term of office, whichever is earliest.

Title: Provision as to Library Books

(1) No person who is suffering from an infectious disease shall take any book or use or cause any book to be taken for his use from or in any public or circulating library. (2) A person shall not permit any book which has been taken from a public or circulating library, and is under his control, to be used by any person whom he knows to be suffering from an infectious disease. (3) A person shall not return to any public or circulating library any book which he knows to have been exposed to infection from any infectious disease, or permit any such book which is under his control to be so returned, but shall give notice to the Commissioner that the book has been so exposed to infection and the Commissioner shall cause the book to be disinfected and returned to the library, or to be destroyed. (4) The Commissioner shall pay to the proprietor of the concerned library the value of any book destroyed. Explanation.-- For the purposes of this section the Commissioner shall from time to time notify what diseases are to be deemed infectious.
