For Statement of Objects and Reasons see R.H.P.Extra., dated 25.3.2002, P. 4577 &4603] [28th June, 2002] PREAMBLE AN ACT to re-enact a law relating to registration of persons engaged in tourist trade, constitution of the Tourism Development Board and other matters connected therewith. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India, as follows :- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002. MULTI-STATE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT, 2002 MULTI-STATE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT, 2002 39 of 2002 3rd July, 2002 An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to co-operative societies, with objects not confined to one State and serving the interests of members in more than one State, to facilitate the voluntary formation and democratic functioning of co-operatives as people's institutions based on self-help and mutual aid and to enable them to promote their economic and social betterment and to provide functional autonomy and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002. (2) It extends to the whole of India.
