Wild Life (Protection) Amendment Act, 2002 Section 36

Title: Insertion of New Section 60b

After section 60A of the principal Act, the following section shall be inserted, namely:-- "60B. Reward by State Government.-- The State Government may empower the Chief Wild Life Warden to order payment of reward not exceeding ten thousand rupees to be paid to a person who renders assistance in the detection of the offence or the apprehension of the offender, from such fund and in such manner as may be prescribed.".

Title: Amendment of Section 64

In section 64 of the principal Act, in sub-section (2),-- (i) for clauses (a) and (b), the following clauses shall be substituted, namely:-- "(a) the term of office of members other than those who are members, ex officio, the manner of filling vacancies and the procedure to be followed by the Board under sub-section (2) of section 6; (b) allowances referred to in sub-section (3) of section 6;"; (ii) after clause (d), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-- "(dd) the conditions subject to which the officers will be authorised to file cases in the court;", (iii) after clause (g), the following clauses shall be inserted, namely:-- "(ga) the manner and conditions subject to which the Administrator shall receive and manage the property under sub-section (2) of section 58G; (gb) the terms and conditions of service of the Chairman and other members under sub-section (3) of section 58N; (gc) the fund from which and the manner in which payment of reward under section 60B shall be made;".

Multi-state Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 Chapter XIV

Title: Offences and Penalties

.....cash, security and other property belonging to a multi-State co-operative society of which he is an officer or custodian, to a person entitled under section 54, or section 70, or section 78, or section 79, or section 89 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees and in the case of a continuing breach, with a further fine which may extend to five thousand rupees for every day during which the breach is continued after conviction for the first such breach. .....Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows :- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT -(1) This Act may be called the Finance Act, 2002. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, Sections 2-to116-shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2002. SECTION 02: INCOME TAX (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3), for the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 2002, income tax shall be charged at the rates specified in Part I of the First Schedule and such tax as reduced by the rebate of income tax calculated under Chapter VIII-A of the Income Tax Act, 1961(43 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the Income Tax Act) shall be increased by a surcharge for purposes of the Union calculated in each case in the manner provided therein. (2) In the cases to which Paragraph A of Part I of the First Schedule applies, where the assessee has, in the previous year, any net agricultural income exceeding five thousand rupees, in addition to total income, and the total income exceeds fifty thousand rupees, then,- (a) the net agricultural income shall be taken into account, in the manner provided.....
