Title: Of the Communication, Acceptance and Revocation of Proposals

(3) by the failure of the acceptor to fulfill a condition precedent to acceptance; or (4) by the death or insanity of the proposer, if the fact of his death or insanity comes to the knowledge of the acceptor before acceptance. Section 7 - Acceptance must be absolute In order to convert a proposal into a promise, the acceptance must (1) be absolute and unqualified; (2) be expressed in some usual and reasonable manner, unless the proposal prescribes the manner in which it is to be accepted. If the proposal prescribes a manner in which it is to be accepted, and the acceptance is not made in such manner, the proposer may, within a reasonable time after the acceptance is communicated to him, insist that his proposal shall be accepted in the prescribed manner, and not otherwise; but if he fails to do so, he accepts the acceptance. Title: Of the Attestation, Revocation, Alteration and Revival of Wills

.....validity to a privileged Will, or by the burning, tearing or otherwise destroying the same by the testator, or by some person in his presence and by his direction, with the intention of revoking the same. Explanation.In order to the revocation of a privileged Will or codicil by an act accompanied by such formalities as would be sufficient to give validity to a privileged Will, it is not necessary that the testator should at the time of doing that act be in a situation which entitles him to make a privileged Will. Section 73 - Revival of unprivileged Will (1) No unprivileged Will or codicil, nor any part thereof, which has been revoked in any manner, shall be revived otherwise than by the re-execution thereof, or by a codicil executed in manner hereinbefore required, and showing an intention to revive the same. (2) When any Will or codicil, which has been partly revoked and afterwards wholly revoked, is revived, such revival shall not extend to so much thereof as has been revoked before the revocation of the whole thereof, unless an intention to the contrary is shown by the Will or codicil.

.....certificate in respect of an institution has been revoked under sub-section (1), such institution shall cease to function from the date of such revocation: Provided that where an appeal lies under section 54 against the order of revocation, such institution shall cease to function-- (a) where no appeal has been preferred immediately on the expiry of the period prescribed for the filing of such appeal, or (b) where such appeal has been preferred, but the order of revocation has been upheld, from the date of the order of appeal. (3) On the revocation of a certificate in respect of an institution, the competent authority may direct that any person with disability who is an inmate of such institution on the date of such revocation, shall be-- (a) restored to the custody of her or his parent, spouse or lawful guardian, as the case may be, or (b) transferred to any other institution specified by the competent authority. (4) Every institution which holds a certificate of registration which is revoked under this section shall, immediately after such revocation, surrender such certificate to the competent authority.

Title: Variation, Suspension and Revocation of Licences

.....by order in writing suspend or revoke a this section shall, as far as may be, apply in relation to the suspension or revocation of a licence by such authority. Title: Revocation of the Appointment or Death, of a Polling Agent or Counting Agent

(1) Any revocation of the appointment of a polling agent shall be signed by the candidate or his election agent and shall operate from the date on which it is lodged with such officer as may be prescribed, and in the event of such a revocation or of the death of a polling agent before the close of the poll, the candidate or his election agent may appoint in the prescribed manner another polling agent at any time before the poll is closed and shall forthwith give notice of such appointment in the prescribed manner to such officer as may be prescribed. (2) Any revocation of the appointment of a counting agent shall be signed by the candidate or his election agent and shall operate from the date on which it is lodged with the returning officer, and in the event of such revocation or of the death of a counting agent before the commencement of the counting of votes, the candidate or his election agent may appoint in the prescribed manner another counting agent at any time before the counting of votes is commenced and shall forthwith give notice of such appointment in the prescribed manner to the returning officer.

Title: Variation, Suspension and Revocation of Licences

.....the licensing authority is satisfied that the holder of the licence is prohibited by this Act or by any other law forthe time being in force to manufacture, possess, sell, transport, import or export any explosive, or is of unsound mind, or is for any reason unfit for a licence under this Act; or (b) if the licensing authority deems it necessary for the security of the public peace or for public safety to suspend or revoke the licence; or (c) if the licence was obtained by the suppression of material information or on the basis of wrong information provided by the holder of the licence or any other person on his behalf at the time of applying for the licence; or (d) if any of the conditions of the licence has been contravened; or (e) if the holder of the licence has failed to comply with a notice under sub-section (1) requiring him to deliver-up the licence.
