Aircraft Act, 1934 Complete Act

.....Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Aircraft Rules, 1937, namely: SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND EXTENT (1) This Act may be called The Aircraft Act, 1934. (2) It extends to the whole of India and applies also-: (a) to citizens of India, wherever they may be; and (b) to, and to the persons on, aircraft registered in India wherever they may be.] SECTION 02: DEFINITIONS In this Act, unless is anything repugnant in the subject or context,- (1) "Aircraft" means any machine which can derive support in the atmosphere from reactions of the air, Other than reactions of the air against the earth's surface] and includes balloons, whether fixed or free, airships, kites, gliders and flying machines. (2) "Aerodrome" means any definite or limited ground or water area intended to be used, either wholly or in part, for the lending or departure of aircraft, and includes all buildings, sheds, vessels, piers and other structures thereon or appertaining thereto, (2A) "aerodrome reference point", in relation to any aerodrome, means a designated point established in the horizontal plane at or near the geometric centre of that part of the aerodrome.....

Indian Forest Act, 1927 Section 36

Title: Power to Assume Management of Forests

(1) In case of neglect of, or willful disobedience to, any regulation or prohibition under section 35, or if the purposes of any work to be constructed under that section so require, the1[ Sta t e Government ] may, after notice in writing to the owner of such forest or land and after considering his objections, if any, place the same under the control of a Forest-officer, and may declare that all or any of the provisions of this Act relating to reserved forests shall apply to such forest or land. Title: Constitution of Criminal Courts and Offices

Factories Act, 1948 Chapter VI

Section 53 - Compensatory holidays (1) Where, as a result of the passing of an order or the making of a rule under the provisions of this Act exempting a factory or the workers therein from the provisions of section 52, a worker is deprived of any of the weekly holidays for which provision is made in sub-section (1) of that section, he shall be allowed, within the month in which the holidays were due to him or within the two months immediately following that month, compensatory holidays of equal number to the holidays so lost. Factories Act, 1948 Section 55

1[(1)]2[The periods of work] of adult workers in a factory each day shall be so fixed that no period shall exceed five hours and that no worker shall work for more than five hours before he has had an interval for rest of at least half an hour. 3[( 2 ) The State Government or, subject to the control of the Sta t e Government, the Chief Inspector, may, by written order and for the reasons specified therein, exempt any factory from the provisions of sub-section ( 1 ) so however that the total number of hours worked by a worker without an interval does not exceed six.] _____________________ 1.
