Preamble. " WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the reorganization of the University of Cochin and convert it into a full fledged University of Science and Technology for the promotion of graduate and post-graduate studies and advanced research in applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social science; BE it enacted in the Thirty-seventh Year of the Republic of.
