Statement of affairs to be filed on winding up of a company ( 1 ) Every company shall file with the Tribunal a statement of its affairs alongwith the petition for winding up. ( 2 ) Where a company oppose a petition for its winding up, it sh all file with the Tribunal a statement of its affairs. ( 3 ) The statement of affairs referred to in sub-section ( 1 ) or sub-section ( 2 ) shall be accompanied by-- (a) the last known addresses of all directors and company, secretary of such company; (b) the details of location of assets of the company and their value; (c) the details of all debtors and creditors with their complete addresses; (d) the details of workmen.....

.....or subsidiaries, outside India; (c) any ship, aircraft or other means of transport registered in India or outside India, wherever it may be; (d) foreigners while in India; (e) persons in the service of the Government of India, within and beyond India. (5) Notwithstanding the applicability of the provisions of any other Central Act relating to any activity provided herein, the provisions of this Act shall apply to export, transfer, re-transfer, transit and trans-shipment of material, equipment or technology of any description as are identified, designated, categorised or considered necessary by the Central Government, as pertinent or relevant to India as a Nuclear Weapon State, or to the national security of India, or to the furtherance of its foreign policy or its international obligations under any bilateral, multilateral or international treaty, Covenant, Convention or arrangement relating to weapons of mass destruction or their means of delivery, to which India is a Party.

Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997 Chapter I

.....and religious education and teaching of philosophy; (e) observance of religious festivals; and (f) any other public religious purpose; (25) 'Rules' means the rules made under this Act; (26) 'Specific Endowment' means any property or money endowed for the performance of any specific service or charity in a Hindu religious institution or charitable institution or for the performance of any other charity. Explanation: Where a specific endowment attached to a charitable institution or a Hindu religious institution is situated partly within the State and partly outside the State, control shall be exercised in accordance with the provisions of this Act over the whole of the specific endowment provided the Charitable Institution or the Hindu religious institution is situated within the State; (27) 'Temple' means a place by whatever designation known, used as a place of public religious worship having separate existence and dedicated to or for the benefit of or used as of right by the Hindu community or any section thereof as a place of public religious worship and includes a Mandira, Samadhi, Brindavana, Gaddige, shrine, Sub-shrine, Utsava Mantapa, tank or other necessary.....

Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997 Section 1

Title: Short Title, Extent, Commencement and Application

(1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Karnataka. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification appoint and different dates may be appointed for different classes of Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments. (4) It shall not apply,- (i) to a mutt or a temple attached, thereto ; (ii) to any Hindu Religious institution or charitable endowment founded, organised run or managed by Hindu Religious denomination. Explanation: For the purpose of this Act a mutt means a religious institution presided over by a person whose principal duty is to engage himself in the teaching and propagation of religion, teachings and philosophy of the denomination, sect or sampradaya to which the mutt belongs and in imparting religious instruction and training and rendering spiritual service or who exercises or claims to exercise spiritual headship over a body of disciples; and includes any place or places of religious worship, instruction or training which are pertinent to the institution.

.....the same meaning as assigned to it in clause (i) of section 4 of the Weapons of Mass Destruction and their Delivery Systems (Prohibition of Unlawful Activities) Act, 2005.'. 3. Amendment of title of Chapter II. - In the principal Act, in sub-heading below "Chapter II", for the words "EXPORT AND IMPORT POLICY", the words "FOREIGN TRADE POLICY" shall be substituted. 4. Amendment of section 3. - In section 3 of the principal Act,-(a) in sub-section (2),-(i) for the words "import or export of goods", the words "import or export of goods or services or technology" shall be substituted;(ii) after sub-section (2), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-"Provided that the provisions of this sub-section shall be applicable, in case of import or export of services or technology, only when the service or technology provider is availing benefits under the foreign trade policy or is dealing with specified services or specified technologies.".(b) after sub-section (3), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:-"(4) without prejudice to anything contained in any other law, rule, regulation, notification or order, no permit or licence shall be necessary for import or export.....

(2) "Aerodrome" means any definite or limited ground or water area intended to be used, either wholly or in part, for the lending or departure of aircraft, and includes all buildings, sheds, vessels, piers and other structures thereon or appertaining thereto, (2A) "aerodrome reference point", in relation to any aerodrome, means a designated point established in the horizontal plane at or near the geometric centre of that part of the aerodrome.....

.....in India should be assimilated to that in force in the United Kingdom and the object of this Bill is to consolidate the provisions of the British Acts of 1911 and 1920 and to enact them in a form suitable for India. As this Bill is a purely consolidating measure, it is not necessary to deal with the clauses in detail, but it may be mentioned that it is proposed to omit provisions on the lines of Ss. 4 and 5 of the Act of 1920, as it is considered that the matters dealt with in these sections are sufficiently covered by the provisions of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, and the Indian Post Office Act, 1898.
