THE NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY OF UTTARAKHAND ACT, 2011 THE NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY OF UTTARAKHAND ACT, 2011 [Act No. 11 of 2011] PREAMBLE AN ACT To establish and incorporate a National Law University at Bhowali, Nainital in Uttarakhand and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto IT IS HEREBY enacted by State Legislature in the Sixty-second years of the Republic of India as follows: Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the National Law University of Uttarakhand Act, 2011. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette appoint. Section 2 - Definitions In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (i) "Academic Council" means the Academic. .....Warehousing Corporation" means the Central Warehousing Corporation, established or deemed to be established under the Warehousing Corporation Act, 1962 (Act No. 58, 1962); (ix) "Chief Executive Officer" means a person, appointed as such under sub-section (2) of section 36 of the Act, by Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee.
