Pensions Act, 1871 Section 12A

Title: Nomination by Pensioner to Receive Moneys Outstanding on Account of Pension

.....which have so remained unpaid: Provided that if the nominee predeceases the pensioner, the nomination shall, so far as it relates to the right conferred upon the said nominee, become void and of no effect: Provided further that where provision has been duly made in the nomination, in accordance with the rules made by the Central Government, conferring upon some other person the right to receive all such moneys, which have so remained unpaid, in the event of the nominee predeceasing the pensioner, such right shall, upon the decease as aforesaid of the nominee, pass to such other person]. _________________________ 1. Pt. V. p:501. Act 52 of 1953.- The Banking Companies Act. 1949 (X of 1949) was passed to ensure proper administration of the banking companies in India. The liquidation of banks, however, continued to be governed by the provisions of the Indian Companies Act, 1913. Experience of the liquidation of a large number of banks that failed during the post-war and post-partition period disclosed that the procedure for the liquidation of joint stock companies was totally inadequate for the liquidation of banking companies in a manner satisfactory to the depositors. THE KERALA AGRICULTURISTS' DEBTRELIF ACT, 1970 [1] THE KERALA AGRICULTURISTS' DEBTRELIF ACT, 1970 [1] (ACT 11 Of 1970) An Act to give relief to indebted agriculturists in the State of Kerala Preamble.- WHEREASit is considered necessary to provide for the relief of indebted agiculturists in the State of Kerala; BE it enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:- I. Short title , extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called The Kerala Agriculturists' Debt Relief Act, 1970. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala. (3) It shall come into force at once. 2. Definitions._ In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires _ (1) "agriculturist" means a person who has an interest, other than as a simple mortgagee, in any agricultural or horticultural land in the State of Kerala, and includes- (a) an agricultural labourer; (b) a kudikidappukaran; and (c) a tenant.
